How It Works

From photos to masterpiece in four simple steps.

01

Share Your Photos

Send me your favorite photos of your companion. The more, the better - I'll work with you to choose the perfect composition.

02

Portrait Creation

I carefully craft your portrait, capturing every detail - from the glint in their eyes to the texture of their fur.

03

Your Approval

You'll receive a digital proof for review. Request unlimited revisions until it's absolutely perfect.

04

Delivery

Your approved portrait is printed on archival canvas and delivered in premium packaging. Current turnaround: 2-3 weeks.

How It's Made

Built Digitally, Finished with Care

I use digital tools to create the base and proof, then spend the real time on refinement and finishing. That balance is what lets the portrait feel polished, personal, and true to them.

1

Digital Foundation

Every portrait starts with your photos and stories. I use digital tools to build the first composition, shape the proof, and get the expression, pose, and colour balance right before anything moves to production.

2

Artist Refinement

That is only the base. I then refine the likeness by hand, focusing on the eyes, markings, fur edges, and the small details that make the portrait feel like your companion rather than a filtered photo.

3

Archival Canvas Printing

Once you approve the proof, the portrait moves into professional canvas production. Standard is printed on archival canvas, Premium adds a richer textured surface, and Heirloom receives the most elevated finish in the collection.

Meet Elena

I started The Final Sitting after losing Maren, my border collie of fourteen years. I wanted something that felt like her - not a copy of a photograph, but a painting that captured who she was.

Every portrait I create begins with your photos and your stories. I build the composition and proof digitally, then refine and finish the portrait by hand according to the tier you choose.

What Our Clients Say

I didn't expect to cry when I opened it but I completely lost it. It looks just like him. My husband keeps walking past it and touching the frame.
